English
1. Product and independence
JAL LSP Tracker is an independently developed, unofficial Chrome extension. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or produced by Japan Airlines Co., Ltd.
2. Information handled
Only after the user actively starts synchronization, the extension reads information already displayed on trusted JAL Life Status Point pages: total LSP; transaction date, category, service, description, and LSP amount; displayed date range; the source page path with query parameters removed; synchronization coverage and status; and the interface-language preference. It does not save passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, JMB membership numbers, payment information, mileage balances, or FLY ON Point balances.
3. Purpose
The information is used only to save the user's LSP history locally, prevent duplicate or incomplete synchronization, calculate summaries and trends, estimate progress toward Star Grade LSP requirements, and provide user-requested CSV or JSON exports.
4. Storage and transmission
LSP records, settings, synchronization coverage, and job state are stored in chrome.storage.local in the user's current Chrome profile. To resume a user-requested sync after the optional-permission prompt closes the popup, the extension temporarily stores a random request ID, the originating tab and window IDs, and creation/expiry times in chrome.storage.session for no more than about five minutes. This temporary record contains no LSP content, credentials, or account identifier and is removed when the request starts, is cancelled, expires, or the browser session ends.
JAL LSP Tracker has no developer-operated backend and does not transmit the collected information to the developer, JAL, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties. Extension pages block external network connections and use no remote executable code.
5. Sharing, sale, advertising, and human access
The extension does not sell, share, rent, or monetize user data; does not use it for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes; and does not allow the developer or other humans to read it. Data leaves the device only when the user deliberately exports a file and then chooses what to do with that file.
6. Permissions
- storage: save LSP records and preferences locally.
- scripting and activeTab: read the specific JAL pages involved in a user-started synchronization.
- alarms: provide timeouts and safe cleanup for the synchronization workflow.
- Optional access to https://*.jal.co.jp/*: requested only when synchronization starts, so the workflow can continue across JAL login redirects, the LSP overview, and LSP history pages.
7. User control and retention
Records remain in the current Chrome profile until the user clears them from the dashboard, clears extension storage, or uninstalls the extension. The dashboard can export CSV or JSON and can delete LSP records, synchronization ranges, and job state. The language preference may remain after clearing LSP records and is removed when the extension is uninstalled.
8. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide or improve the extension's single, user-facing purpose described above.
9. Changes and support
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. For support, use the project's GitHub Issues page. Do not post account identifiers, screenshots containing personal data, or exported LSP history in a public issue.
